Identity for UCL BA Media short courses.

The UCL BA Media program is designed for the next generation of media professionals, offering specialized pathways in film, games, and interactive media production. Each of these pathways utilizes the screen—a grid of pixels.

Inspired by the pixel-based structure, the short course identity incorporates an adaptation of Arial, the official typeface of University College London. This typeface evolves in form, echoing the time-based nature of the media disciplines taught in the program.

To visually support each course, a series of background images was developed. These visuals combine found imagery sourced from Google with AI-generated images, further transformed through various digital processes.
